Licenses & Ratings
Private Pilot License
If you're new to aviation, this is your starting point! This license enables you to operate general aviation aircraft and transport passengers. Typically, it takes around 6-8 months to complete with costs ranging from approximately $10,000 to $12,000 in total.
Instrument Rating
If you're a Private Pilot seeking to enhance your safety and acquire new skills, the instrument rating is ideal for you. This rating enables you to under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) during challenging weather conditions.
Commercial License
If you're aiming to turn flying into a career, obtaining this license is the next step following your Instrument Rating. It enables you to earn money for position outlined under Part 119.1(e) of the Federal Aviation Regulations.
Tailwheel Endorsement
If you're a Private Pilot seeking to enhance your skill set, flying a tailwheel offers an excellent opportunity. The tailwheel endorsement consists of 10 hours of flight time an American Champion Decathlon, where you'll acquire the necessary skills to become a tailwheel pilot.
